The Coverage was founded in 2023 by James Hyde, Lily-Belle Burden-Ting, Andreas Velimachitis and Henry Broome as students at the University of Cambridge. It was originally conceived as part of the Cambridge University Sports Journalism Society (CUSJS), which aimed to bring industry expertise to the student body, as well as encouraging student journalism through speaker events and an original publication...The Coverage.

 

Dedicated to bringing you the very best independent, student-led journalism, The Coverage sports a broad range of articles, from pitch side photography of local league battles, to incisive pieces on the political economy of the Olympics- we want to hear from you!

Although The Coverage started in Cambridge, it has quickly branched out into universities nationwide, and we're extremely proud to host journalist work from a range of higher education institutes up and down the country.
